Steve Haase
Steve has 25 years of experience in risk management and insurance. He started his career in 1978 with the Factory Mutual System designing and implementing loss control and insurance programs for some of the largest companies in the world. In 1983 he joined H.D.A. Company and was one of the insurance professionals to provide risk management expertise to emerging technology companies. In 1997 he launched the first insurance product focused on “breach of security” exposures for companies doing business over the Internet. This initiative eventually became INSUREtrust LLC.
Steve raised private equity to fund INSUREtrust and recruited a management team with the diverse specialities necessary to integrate the key company functions of risk management, insurance and network security. His primary responsibilities are to direct INSUREtrust into profitable strategic markets, develop and preserve key strategic alliances and oversee the overall operations of the company.
Steve has earned both B.A. and M.S. degrees in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University. He also holds CPCU and ARM designations. He is a frequent speaker at industry events on e-business risk management.
Zane Goldthorp
Zane has been with INSUREtrust since 2007, and as a Producer focuses on clients in need of Cyber Liability coverage. He also provides customers with Tech E&O, Misc E&O, D&O, EPL, and Crime policies.
Zane graduated from Berry College with a degree in Business Administration. He also played golf for the school, and then went on to play on the NGA Hooters Tour for three years. Zane volunteers with First Tee of Atlanta, and also enjoys hunting.
Jared Hopkins
Jared has been with INSUREtrust since 2007, and as a Producer focuses on clients in need of Cyber Liability coverage. He also provides customers with Tech E&O, Misc E&O, D&O, EPL, and Crime policies. He got his start in the industry in 2000 as an underwriting assistant for a builders risk agency, and then moved to AIG as an account manager in the Domestic Accident and Health Division in the mid-2000s.
Jared played soccer for Hampden-Sydney College, before transferring to Kennesaw State University, where he graduated with a degree in Economics.
John Le
John recently joined INSUREtrust, as an Account Manager. John serves as the primary business contact for all clients and is responsible for client satisfaction. He has worked in the insurance industry for over three years as an inside claims adjuster. John also has extensive experience in the customer service field.
John earned a degree in Marketing from Kennesaw State University. In his free time, he likes to fish, build go-karts, and play disc golf. John also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
Allen Cross
Allen recently joined the INSUREtrust team as a Senior Risk Consultant. He has a wealth of experience in global risk management, with a background in both underwriting and brokerage. He has spent much of his 18-year career advising multinational corporations on risk management strategies, as well as insuring them with a variety of products.
Allen graduated from Washington and Lee University with a degree in European History, holds a certificate in International Business and Finance from New York University, and a certificate in Insurance Analysis and Underwriting from The College of Insurance in New York. He also has a Masters in Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary.
In his free time, Allen is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church.
Adam Hewitt
Adam recently joined INSUREtrust as Director of Marketing. He works in a variety of areas, including communicating with our customers through the INSUREtrust newsletter. Adam has previous experience in the education and mortgage industries.
Adam earned a degree in Political Science from Furman University and a Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University. He volunteers with Young Life, a high school ministry, and enjoys backpacking and other outdoor activities.
